Huge praise for this product!! I was anticipating the delivery today because the Hand and Foot Cream was scheduled to arrive. The intense moisturization exceeds my expectations and most importantly, has made an immediate difference in extreme dry patches that have occurred due to a medication side-effect. The skin on our palms and soles of our feet is different from any other areas of our body. There is no hair and that extra thickness is caused by the protein keratin, which is nourished in deeper layers of the skin but forms a surface layer of dead cells on the epidermis. Since there are no hair follicles or pores, there is no way for the body to lubricate this skin. It's why these areas tend to dry out and on many people become crusty and even crack. It is important to keep these areas lubricated.
What we have noticed is this formula forms a sort of protective layer and seems to stay even after washing with soap and water. I can feel a difference two days after an application.
So what is the down side? It doesn't absorb instantly. Since there is no water, balms do not readily absorb into the skin. It takes a while. For those with really dry skin about 15 minutes after application is all that is needed. For those like me with oily to neutral skin, longer time is needed for it to absorb. As I am watching TV or reading, I apply to my feet and my hands and let my feet hang out over an ottoman. It takes about 30 to 60 minutes for me. But it is worth it, because the feeling is something special. Even my daughter, who has sweaty hands and feet, noticed how special her hands and feet felt.

HAZELNUT OIL (Corylus Avellana) Of all the oils; Hazelnut is the fastest absorbing. When we combine it with other butters this helps them absorb deep into the skin.
MANGO BUTTER (Mangifera Indica) Mango Butter is rich with antioxidants, fatty acids and vitamins that nourish the skin and boost its elasticity and suppleness.
COCOA BUTTER (Natural) (Theobroma Cacao) Cocoa Butter Organic is made by cold pressing the seeds of the cacao tree, Theobroma cacao and filtering the raw oil.
CANDILLA WAX (Euphorbia Cerifera) Candelilla wax is a plant based wax and a suitable vegan alternative to beeswax. Like beeswax, this unique wax has quite a high melting point, and acts as a stabilizer and emulsifier in balms, creams, salves and lotions. It is skin conditioning, easily absorbed, odorless, and rich in nutrients.
VEGETABLE WAX FROM SOY: A small amount is used to get the correct feel.
