Herbs are one of the secrets to healthy hair;
We use 5 powerful herbs to soften and add life and health
to your hair and your scalp. It's all about the combination of certain
herbs to get the desired effect: Soft healthy hair with highlights that
is easy to comb.
When should I use it? As often
as you like. You may alternate with our Argan Conditioner or use
exclusively. There is no build up.
How long can I leave it in? 30
Minutes to over night. Rinse out afterwards.
Ingredients:
Reverse Osmosis Purified Water:
Reverse Osmosis is the
gold standard of water. Obviously we wanted fast absorption. Using a
water with any hard water components or contaminants would slow down
this absorption. Most companies use 'purified' water. Which may or may
not be as good. Might seem like a minor point, but I saw a huge
difference in the quality of our products when we switched from 'just
purified' about 19 years ago. Now we only use R-O Water.
Active Herb Decoctions:
Decoctions are a much more intense version of
infusions such as tea. Typically made over days at a time using water
and heat.
Marshmallow Root: (Althaea
officinalis) High in plant proteins, marshmallow nourishes and thickens
hair strands as well as promotes healthy hair growth. Regular use of
this herb, will make your hair smoother and silkier, increase
manageability, and restore luster and bounce.
Sage:
(Salvia Sclarea) Sage is a traditional topical treatment for graying
hair, and the herb may promote new hair growth, according to the
University of Maryland Medical Center. Sage has antibiotic,
anti-allergic and antiseptic properties and is a source of magnesium,
zinc, potassium, and vitamins B and C.
Horsetail:
(Equisetum arvense) Horsetail extract is taken from the horsetail plant.
There is a reason many professionals recommend horsetail extract as a
natural treatment for thinning hair. Horsetail extract is rich in
minerals for hair. Horsetail vitamins for hair growth’s principal

nutrients which are extremely beneficial for your hair.

Allantoin
is the main active ingredient in comfrey root. This
non-toxic, non-allergenic ingredient, both in nature and in the lab, is
good for your skin and hair because it is an emollient, anti-irritant,
skin-protectant, and all-around water-increasing asset with a
wonder-power. It actually promotes and accelerates cell proliferation or
improving skin regeneration. It is keratolytic, which means it causes
keratin to soften giving the skin or scalp a softer feel. According to
WebMD, allantoin is used to treat or prevent dry, rough, scaly and itchy
skin. Dry skin is caused by a loss of water or moisture and allantoin
breaks down the keratin in skin and allows moisture to be trapped or
retained.
