Reaction from our first tester

I received the new revised hair gels and so far so good. As soon as I received it I tried it and not only did it hold well but it left the hair very shiny. I also love the fact that it's a stronghold with a soft touch not drying or flaky. Sandra

Ingredients:

Reverse Osmosis Purified Water:Reverse Osmosis is the gold standard of water. Obviously we wanted fast absorption. Using a water with any hard water components or contaminants would slow down this absorption. Most companies use 'purified' water. Which may or may not be as good. Might seem like a minor point, but I saw a huge difference in the quality of our products when we switched from 'just purified' about 19 years ago. Now we only use R-O Water.

Castor Oil Jamaican Black: Jamaican Black Castor Oil is a dark, rich therapeutic oil that can be used to condition skin, hair and scalp. ... This product is highly moisturizing and provides luster and softness to otherwise dry, coarse hair, so it is ideal for use in ethnic hair care. But works in all hair types. It will moisturize, thicken, strengthen and rapidly increase hair growth. It increases blood flow to the scalp, supplying valuable nutrients to hair follicles. Jamaican Black Castor Oil will also prevent hair breakage, dandruff, eczema and dry, itchy scalp.

Active Herb Decoctions: Decoctions are a much more intense version of infusions such as tea. Typically made over days at a time using water and heat.

Marshmallow Root:(Althaea officinalis) High in plant proteins, marshmallow nourishes and thickens hair strands as well as promotes healthy hair growth. Regular use of this herb, will make your hair smoother and silkier, increase manageability, and restore luster and bounce.

Sage: (Salvia Sclarea) Sage is a traditional topical treatment for graying hair, and the herb may promote new hair growth, according to the University of Maryland Medical Center. Sage has antibiotic, anti-allergic and antiseptic properties and is a source of magnesium, zinc, potassium, and vitamins B and C.

Horsetail: (Equisetum arvense) Horsetail extract is taken from the horsetail plant. There is a reason many professionals recommend horsetail extract as a natural treatment for thinning hair. Horsetail extract is rich in minerals for hair. Horsetail vitamins for hair growth’s principal ingredient is the mineral silica, or silicon, which strengthens hair strands, as well as nails and bones. The mineral silica found in a horsetail supplement for hair growth doesn’t just promote the structural integrity of the hair; it improves its sheen and texture also. Horsetail hair growth is made possible by another mineral contained in this astonishing natural remedy: selenium. Selenium helps your body process iodine, which regulates hair growth (a deficiency in selenium, for example, can lead to slow or stopped hair growth). Additionally, horsetail contains a treasure trove of other good stuff that contribute to its medicinal properties: potassium, aluminum salts, alkaloids, bitters, saponins, flavonoids, and aconitic acid.

Fenugreek Seeds:(Trigonella foenum-graecum) Fenugreek has been used by Indian women since ancient times for beautiful hair. ... Fenugreek helps in treating dandruff, itchy and flaky scalp, treating hair loss, triggering hair growth, adding that lost shine to your hair and also helps you regrow your lost hair.

Hibiscus Flowers: (Hibiscus Rosa-Senensis) Hibiscus is used for ages and was used by our grandparents to treat their hair problems. Hibiscus is rich in amino acids, Vitamin A, Vitamin C and alpha Hydroxyl acids along with other nutrients which are extremely beneficial for your hair.
